Where it stalls

Three places enterprise finance gets stuck.

The S/4HANA move has no finance owner

Migrations run as IT programs. The ledger design, document splitting, and parallel ledgers get decided by default, and the CFO inherits the result.

AI pilots never reach the close

Proofs of concept run on exports and screenshots. Nothing touches posted documents, bank statements, or the approval chain, so nothing changes.

The data foundation is an afterthought

Vector databases get bought before master data is trusted. Retrieval over a bad chart of accounts produces confident, wrong answers.

Nobody owns both halves
